Well, I am glad to say that in less than two weeks I will be home! (Almost a week now). When I get home (January 17th) then I will start finding times to see everyone and so hopefully I will see all of you soon. I'll probably start working on the first of February, so if you only have specific times you'll be around, let me know!
Just wanted to say I'm looking forward to seeing you all soon!

New Years
Well, sorry to all for my lack of a Christmas post! Things were so busy here that it just didn't end up happening, but now I have a very small chance to relax, so here's what's been happening:
Christmas was a lot of work for me, because I was involved in getting everything ready for the church. But, it was still Christmas because Jesus is Lord everywhere and the point remained the same. It was hard to be away, but I had to remind myself that family is not the point of Christmas, Christ is. So, while it was difficult, I was over here serving and that made it worth it, because doing what God wants you to do on Christmas is better than being at home (even if it is really hard!).
New Years was simply amazing. There had been shots and random firework bursts since Christmas was over and it had increased day by day until New Years Eve, when at least every five minutes someone was setting something off. That was no comparision, however, to going up on the roof. We went up at quarter to 12 here, and the fireworks were just amazing. Everywhere you looked there were fireworks. The smoke got so thick we couldn't see the stars anymore there were so many. It was like the Detroit fireworks for Fourth of July in panorama all around us. Sometimes it was a little scary, but it was beautiful. Just sad that you couldn't see all of what was happening, because if you turned one way, you missed them somewhere else.
But, now we are in 2007, and many things are still unkown for me this year and others are more decided. I only have 17 days though until I am home and then I will actually be able to talk to you all, so Happy New Year for now and see you soon!
